This 1980s skirt set is so hot. It is a deep Valentine red damask with woven roses. The set is by Ultra Dress and features big 1980s shoulder pads and a nipped waist that flares into a peplum. The curvy shape on top is balanced by the straight, knee-length skirt. The creamy white pearlized buttons on the jacket have a raised rose design.
Size: 10 Measurements: Bust: 38 inches Waist: 32 inches on jacket, 30 to 32 inches on the skirt Hips: 42 inches on the skirt. Length: 24 inches from waistband to hem on the skirt.
Note that measurements are taken with the garment laid flat: at the underarms across the chest, at the natural waist or waistband (if present), at the widest part of the hips, and from the shoulder or waistband (as appropriate) to the hem.
Best practice is to measure a similar garment that fits the way you like, at the same points for comparison.
